Inspired by the shirts worn by workers and laborers between the 1920s and 1930s. They wore shirts without a tie, for fear of getting caught in machinery, when fixing ship engines, etc., for that reason they chose to wear shirts without the traditional collar.

This Admiralty liner first appears in the Yarmouth Oilskins catalog in 1930. It has now been remade exactly as it was then, as it was first supplied to the British government.

It is made of cotton and linen twill fabric. Linen gives it a wrinkled look that has a special charm and improves with use.

  • The buttons are from Codelite, made in England from milk casein, as it was done 100 years ago, being biodegradable and sustainable.
  • Made in Great Yarmouth, Great Britain
