Hand-made in Pakistan, in a workshop with a tradition of embroidery since the 17th century.

All the brooches are handmade using a very old technique of beading and very fine metal threads.

The workshop has been passed on from generation to generation accumulating experience and love for the work done with delicacy.

Currently, 60 people work there under fair social and working conditions.

The brooches designed by Macon et Lesquoy are hand-embroidered with very old techniques of fine and delicate metal embroidery, so they are pieces that should be given due care:

They should not be cleaned, even dry, in a machine. No contact with water, acids or alcohol.

To keep your pins shiny as long as possible, avoid prolonged exposure to heat and light.

The best way is to keep them in their little black box.

If you happen to see a metal wire: don't pull it! Cut it as short as possible.

No bending. Avoid friction (bag straps, seat belt, etc.), which could damage or tear your pins.

Like any other brooch, it can pierce certain delicate materials such as silk or leather.

Trick: If the front embroidery comes off the back layer, you can reattach it without any problem. Use a soft neoprene glue, apply it with a brush on both surfaces. Wait until the glue no longer adheres to your finger and join the two parts together.

Squeeze firmly without tools, so as not to crush the embroidery.
